Mountain View Seniors' Housing Board

Our organization is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors with representatives from the Towns of Carstairs, Didsbury, Olds, Sundre, Village of Cremona and Mountain View County.

The Board has recently recommended a new governance model to municipal councils for approval. This new governance model would position MVSH as both a not-for-profit corporation and a registered charity, as we move towards a self-sustainable and growth-oriented model in the innovative delivery of supportive and independent living.

This recommendation is to help us achieve several key goals of our new Strategic Plan Framework, which involves a significant shift in focus from operating as four separate lodges, to operating as one lodge operator—in four different locations.
